Elsfield is a village just to the north-east of Oxford. It is now united withthe parish of Marston.
All the parish records of Elsfield wereoriginally deposited with the Bodleian Library in 1981, except for PAR94/1/R2/1 and PAR94/1/R5/1, which were deposited with Oxfordshire Archives in 1995 and assigned the Accession Number 4014, and PAR94/3/A1/-2, deposited in April 1997 (acession 4223). An appendix gives a concordance to old and new reference numbers.
