Administrative / Biographical History

The correspondence relates to material left by Mrs Reginald Smith to Apsley Cherry-Garrard in her will. Reginald Smith was involved with the British Antarctic Expedition, 1910-1913 (leader Robert Falcon Scott). Mention is made of fellow expedition member Edward Adrian Wilson who perished with Scott during the return from the South Pole in 1912.
