Scope and Content

This is a photocopy of the first edition, published by the National Computing Centre, Manchester, in 1975 to accompany an NCC launch event. This copy was evidently made from an earliest original because the price is still 50 pence. The NCC soon increased this to £1.50, and maybe by more, until the print-run was exhausted. A second edition was published by the BCS in 1998.
