Administrative / Biographical History

The Neath Antiquarian Society was established in 1923, for the study of the history of Neath and district. It has acquired several archive collections whose origins can be demonstrated with some accuracy, which are listed elsewhere. It has also collected a variety of maps and plans whose provenance is more difficult to determine, which are described here.
