Correspondence

Before their marriage in 1937, Ann Male and David Jones were often apart due to not being able to find work close to each other, and wrote letters, sometimes more than once a day. During most of the correspondence, David Jones was at home in Abergele and Ann Male was working away from home in Upton, Chester and then at home in Bebington, Birkenhead. Their correspondence mainly concerns personal matters such as their next meeting, their jobs and their search for work. Only part of the correspondence has survived.
