Scope and Content

This series consists of miscellaneous papers relating to the Ballets Russes. It includes copies of libretti, sketches, and photographs.It also contains costume lists and correspondence realting to these costumes for the 1909 season, which provides important and unique information about the costumes worn.

It also contains notes made by Valentine Hugo on performances.

These miscellaneous papers have been grouped together into seven sub-series and then described to item level where appropriate.
