Scope and Content

The Banbury Borough Coroners District merged with the North Western Oxfordshire Coroners District (please see COR5 for these records) and the Oxford City and Central Coroners District (please see COR3 for these records) in 1974 to form the Oxfordshire North and Central Coroners District (please see COR10 for these records).

The records were deposited as Acc 4603 in October 1999. Catalogued by Alison Smith, Jennie Montague-Jones and Anna Clark in April 2022.
