Lease for 3 lives of the m. called Argoed, p. Llanfair, co. Mer., reserving timber and mineral rights; covenants include erecting a tan house with tanpits (measurements given). Annual rent: £35 during the life of Richard Poole and after his death, £40. Endorsed: 'I do hereby grant Permission and license to the within named William Pugh to let the within Premises to his son John Pugh as Tenant from year to year but not to extend further. O. A.
