Scope and Content

Fulbrook is a village in the west of Oxfordshire, not far from Burford, with which it has been united since at least the mid-19th century as the parish of Burford with Fulbrook. In 1974 they were themselves united with Taynton.

Almost all the parish records of Fulbrook were originally deposited with the Bodleian Library in 1982. PAR111/2/A1/1-2, PAR111/3/A1/1-2 and PAR111/17/A1/1-2, however, were deposited

there in 1984, and PAR111/1/R2/2 was deposited with Oxfordshire Archives in 1996 as part of Acc. 4099. An Appendix provides a concordance for old and new references.

Catalogued by Robin Darwall-Smith in August 1996.
