Custodial History
The material was originally collected together by the donor's mother, Isabella (Pat) Foreman Neesham (nee Abram). The family moved to Kenya in 1949, where Isabella was involved in theatre, performing in many of the professional productions staged by the Donovan Maule Theatre in Nairobi, Kenya. The family later relocated to Johannesburg in South Africa. Isabella's professional involvement with the theatre did not continue during this period, but she maintained an interest working with various amateur companies and participating in some professional productions staged for fund-raising purposes.
