Scope and Content

A volume, containing mainly medicinal recipes, 1854-1858, compiled by Griffith Griffiths, Llangwnnadl.
Also included are a stock-list of ingredients (ff. 2-19), a few household recipes, including inks (ff. 22 recto-verso, 25 verso-26 verso, 30, 37 recto-verso, 38 verso-39, 43), veterinary recipes (ff. 36, 40 verso-42 verso, 54 verso, 61, 62, 68 verso), and model letters and miscellaneous notes (ff. 55 verso, 82-84 verso). Recipes for the treatment of 'wild warts' are on ff. 55, 59 verso-60.
