Highmore/Highmoor is situated 20 miles south east of Oxford. The parish was formerly a chapelry of Bix and Rotherfield Grey until 1860. Please see the records of Bix at PAR33 and Rotherfield Greys for earlier registers.
The records were originally deposited in the Bodleian Library by Rotherfield Greys PCC in 1978 (c.2) and by Highmore PCC in 1983 (c.1). The material was then transferred to the Oxfordshire Record Office. Further material was deposited as Acc 6587 in June 2017 and as part of Acc 6754 in May 2019.
