Scope and Content

Libretto material, rehearsal details and notebooks owned by Myfanwy Piper during the writing and production of Owen Wingrave.

Includes letter and post-it note from Tonya Malloy to Rosamund Strode after she conducted research on Myfanwy Piper's Owen Wingrave papers in 1990. Malloy identifies the potential dates of Piper's libretto and notebooks, and seems to have rearranged the libretto material into the most likely chronological order.
