Scope and Content

(i) Nicholas Arlush of Knedlington, gent.(ii) John Smithies of York, gent. and (iii) John Athroppe of Thorppe, yeoman: of two conveyances to them

(i) by Langdale Sunderland of Coley Hall esq., for £1820: - manor of Owstroppe alias Owsthroppe with all his estate there and in Eastrington, Hyze, alias Hythe, Sandholme, Gilberdyke, Bennettland, Yoakefleete and Newland. Manor of Spenn alias Eastrington: 17 January 1650/1

(ii) by Sir John Mallory of Studley: for £320: messuage and 40 ac. in Owstroppe, 5 ac. in Greenoake, 10 April 1651

That they paid one third of the purchase prices each, and hold as tenants in common. Witn. John Ellerker, John Ellis, Geo. Blanshard, 16 August 1651
