Scope and Content

Llangollen County School built as a result of Welsh Intermediate and Technical Education Act, 1889. Renamed Llangollen Grammar School 1945.

Llangollen Central School opened in 1936 and was later renamed the Secondary Modern School in 1945, and Dinas Bran County Secondary School 1955.

The Grammar and Modern Schools became Llangollen Bilateral School in 1960, known as Dinas Bran Secondary School. In 1967 this became Dinas Bran (Comprehensive).

This collection consists of governors minutes.
