Scope and Content

The North Western Oxfordshire Coroners District was formed in 1964 when the North Oxfordshire Coroners District (please see COR4) merged with the West Oxfordshire Coroners District (please see COR6 for these records). In 1975 they merged with the Oxford City and Central Coroners District (please see COR3 for these records) and the Banbury Borough Coroners District (please see COR9 for these records) to form the the Oxfordshire North and Central Coroners District (please see COR10 for these records).

The records were deposited as Acc 4602 in October 1999. Catalogued by Alison Smith, Jennie Montague-Jones and Anna Clark in April 2022.
