Administrative / Biographical History

The Town and Country Medical Club was founded in 1892. The purpose appears to be purely social with an annual dinner and an annual summer outing. The Royal Faculty (now College) of Physicians and Surgeons was often used as an assembly point for the summer outings. The minutes are written in a lively and conversational way as befits a club intented for pleasure and professional networking.
