On the f lyleaf she notes that she is his grand-daughter. The letters are from Mrs E Bilsland Williams (nee Hughes), his neice, and from a writer who identifies as 'Merlyn' and who wrote 'Welsh Harpists of other days'. Also gives information about the musician John Parry ('Bardd Alaw'), 1776-1851.
EMA includes a letter from Alasdair Macgregor appealing for contemporary accounts about 'fairy vision', fairly music and fairy apparel for a book. She reponded that Iago Pencerdd had claimed to have heard and written down fairy music but that apparently his son, Henesey Hughes, was unable to find it.
