Custodial History
This collection previously belonged to B.C. Bloomfield (1931-2002), a leading authority on and collector of the work of Barbara Jones. It would appear that Bloomfield purchased the collection of 'Timothy Tramcar' material circa 1999 from the bookseller Niall Devitt. The collection's previous provenance is unclear. After his death, B.C. Bloomfield's entire collection of Barbara Jones material was put up for sale by Ash Rare Books and this material was purchased from Ash Rare Books by Seven Stories in 2006.
