Dixon of Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, acquired deeds and other documents relating to the history of Monmouthshire, and in particular the parishes of Bedwellty, Mynyddislwyn, Trevethin and Aberystruth. It is possible that the collection of this material was initiated by one of her predecessors in the nineteenth century.
