Deeds, 1447-1829, relating mainly to properties in the parishes of Bedwellty, Trevethin, Aberystruth, and Mynyddislwyn, Monmouthshire; records of the parish of Mynyddislwyn, Monmouthshire, 1782-1848; pocket-books of David Davies of Penyvan, 1794-1848; and accounts, 1782-1817.

Mrs Alice M. Dixon of Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, acquired deeds and other documents relating to the history of Monmouthshire, and in particular the parishes of Bedwellty, Mynyddislwyn, Trevethin and Aberystruth. It is possible that the collection of this material was initiated by one of her predecessors in the nineteenth century.

Arranged into two series: manuscripts, which include pocket books and notebooks relating to the parish of Mynyddislwyn; and deeds and documents, arranged chronologically.
