Letter dated 28 Aug. 1912 quote 'the local authority would like to increase the width of the narrow road leading from the ferry to the Beaumaris road. The wall according to my late Uncle was always owned by the ferry .perhaps you will consider the matter when dealing the District Council Surveyor and see that we do not in away admit that the wall near the ferry does not belong to us'. Letter dated 30 Aug. quote 'good nice to see the council are repairing the wall. But when the work is finished and paid for I think you could somehow put on record in a letter to the surveyor that of course we claim the wall and the repair by the council is not to interfere in any way with the right of the owners'.
