Correspondence and related papers, 1986-1987, concerning the decision by the Welsh Arts Council to cease funding the Anglo-Welsh Review in 1987, and the advertisement for franchise for a new magazine in its place. Consequently, the New Welsh Review was founded in June 1988, following the demise of the Anglo-Welsh Review. Included are letters from Tony Bianchi, Raymond Garlick, Greg Hill, Roland Mathias, Mercer Simpson and Meic Stephens. No's 95-97 are additional material deposited in Aug. 1998 by Greg Hill, the final editor of the Anglo-Welsh Review.
