Administrative / Biographical History

Dr John Glyn Jones, a viola player, inherited film-making equipment from his pharmacist Uncle Robin [Robert J. Jones] who shot footage of the Nefyn community in the 1930s. Dr Jones continued the practice of filming community as well as family events up until the 1970s. He was married to Dr Mair Jones (nee Humphreys), Anglesey Council’s Assistant Medical Officer. They had daughters Annes Glyn and Marred.
