Archivists based at Plas Newydd, Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll, Anglesey, working for the University College of North Wales Archives Department, catalogued a group of material derived from Anglesey County Council (abolished 1974). The source of the material is not recorded. Some later items derive from Arfon Borough Council.

Arranged into the following: local authority restructuring and planning; Anglesey County Council, subdivided into agendas, annual estimates of income and expenditure, water authority, housing, education, War Agricultural Executive Committee, health, civil defence; Wylfa nuclear power station; sales catalogues; and miscellaneous.
