Administrative / Biographical History
Sir Richard Mansel, 12th Bt. was the son of Major Courtenay Mansel and Eliza Sidney. He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England. He gained the title of 12th Baronet Mansel, of Muddlescombe, co. Carmarthen on 14 April 1883. He lived at Coedgaing, Carmarthenshire, Wales. In August 1883, he was declared bankrupt.
