Administrative / Biographical History

Richard and Elizabeth Owen owned the Peniarth estate, Llanegryn, Merionethshire, in the early 18th century. They were succeeded by their son Lewis Owen. Jane, his daughter and heiress, married first Richard, 5th Viscount Bulkeley (d 1739), and second Edward Williams, son of John Williams of Bodelwyddan, Flintshire.
