Peter Wexler's papers mainly comprise his notes collected in relation to his research and teaching, and draft papers/articles, mostly dating from the 1970s and 1980s. There are also copies of some of his offprints dating from the 1950s to the 1990s.

Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Peter Wexler was born at Hampstead, London in 1923. He was educated at Manchester Grammar School, and later at Sutcliffe High School, Southend. He studied modern languages at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. He undertook war service in Burma, returning to Cambridge after 1945 to complete his degree.

The collection includes material which is subject to the Data Protection Act 2018. Under
