The Cardiff Hospital Management Commitee was one of a number of committees established under the National Health Act 1946, part iii, with local supervisory responsibility of hospitals and out clinics, under the overall control of the Welsh Hospital Board. Responsibilty covered hospitals in the Cardiff and Barry area.
