‘Letts’s Colonial Rough Diary and Almanac for 1894’, [ff. 1], pp. 209, [ff. 9]. Including:

A: pp. I, 1-6. Malay-Sĕmang-Sakai comparative vocabulary with approx. 125 entries (not all columns complete). Romanized.

B: pp. 8-190. ‘Java Malay vocabulary.’ English-Malay vocabulary of the Malay dialect spoken in Java, containing many Javanisms, and Javanese and Dutch words. On slips pasted into the vol. Romanized.

C: pp. 205, 207, 209, [217, 219, 221, 223]. Malay incantations against evil spirits. Arabic script.

D: loose p. at the end of the vol. Copies of two documents granting seals (cap) to the Pĕnghulu of Cabau, dated A.H. 1235 [A.D. 1819] and 1237 [A.D 1821]. Malay, Arabic script. Copies in MS 381320/03, Vol. II (B).
