This collection consists of title deeds for properties belonging to (or, in some cases, presumably held by) the Rowles family in South Oxfordshire, mainly Great and Little Milton, and farm diaries and accounts for the family farm at Rofford in Chalgrove. It also includes deeds of premises in Speenhamland (in Berkshire).
The catalogue has been arranged in sections by property name, retaining the original sequences of deeds where identifiable. Some of the properties were merged in subsequent purchases. The Rowles family do not appear in the documents until 1906.
