Radcliffe's School was founded by Samuel Radcliffe in 1640 and was restored in 1688. In 1863 the Charity Commissions reorganised the School into a National School. In 1929 it merged with Steeple Aston Infants School (please see CC4/195 for records of this school). In 1969 the school became a voluntary aided church Primary School. Please see CC4/196 for other records of this school.
These records were deposited as parts of Acc 3139 in September 1990 and Acc 3937 in February 1995 and also transferred from the Oxfordshire Education Department to the Oxfordshire History Centre. Recatalogued by Alison Smith in October 2013 with additions by Sophie-Elise Anker in July 2015.
