Bernhardus Siegfried Albinus. Viri clarissimi Bernardi Siegfried Albini dictata in physiologiam. ca 1751. Vols. 2-4 are signed on the first leaf: William Grant. Presumably this was the name of the student who wrote the notes. This may have been William Grant who graduated M.D. at Aberdeen in 1755, was physician to Misericordia Hospital, Goodman's Fields, and died in 1786. A slip of paper with the date 28th Febry 1751 was found in one of the volumes. Inserted in vol. 1 are 12 pp. in the autograph of Sir William Hamilton headed: Ex exemplari Dictatorum Albini anni 1741 quod in Bibl. Coll. Med. Edinens extant. There are also a number of marginal notes by Sir William Hamilton in vol. 1.
