Edwin Jones (1874-1950) was a tailor, born in Llandyfaelog, Carmarthenshire. He set up a business in Tumble, Carmarthenshire, in the mid 1890s. He was an honorary secretary of the Tumble Agricultural Society. His son, Lloyd (died 1985), took over the business until his retirement in the mid 1960s. Edwin Jones' grandfather, J. Jones, had been a shoemaker in Llandyfaelog.
