Correspondence

This series can be divided into approximately two halves: the first consisting of Angelica Garnett's correspondence with her husband, David, and a few items to other family and friends; the second of correspondence to Vanessa Bell, Angelica's mother, many documents being from members of the Bloomsbury set. Angelica Garnett's correspondence with her husband can be found in the sub-series catalogued as AG/1/31. Most, but not all, other envelopes contain correspondence with Vanessa Bell.

Correspondents identified by Christian name only, as well as unidentified persons, have been placed at the end of the series, comprising files AG/1/60-2.
