Cash Book. Messrs. Marshall and Boyd, Hope Iron Works

Handwritten cash book with very corrections or editing, possibly suggesting this is a written up copy. Provides details of client name, the work done, the date the work was done and the cost. At the back of the book are notes under the headings 'cash paid' and 'cash received'. 'Cash paid' appears to list all outgoings of the business including staff wages, the notes for 'cash received' appear to be incomplete but it may be possible to cross-reference the payments with the work done for particular clients.
