Administrative / Biographical History

Humberside Co-operative Development Agency (CDA) was founded in 1985 by Humberside County Council as an arms length agency, to support and develop Co-operatives and Social Enterprises in the Humberside area. In 1996 Humberside was dissolved into four unitary authorities and the CDA become an independent organisation.

Acquisition Information

In October 2017, the National Co-operative Archive published a call-out for historic materials within the wider worker co-op community for Working Together , an Heritage Lottery Funded project seeking to record and preserve the heritage of the worker co-operative moment. This material was deposited by the Co-operative College in response to this call out.
