Administrative / Biographical History

The Imperial Hotel, Helensburgh, Scotland, became a limited liability company in 1935, under the name Imperial Hotel (Helensburgh) Ltd. David Blanche and Andrew Inglis were appointed as directors in May 1935, and then Margaret Mar was appointed as a third director in July of that same year. All shares were transferred to G & J Maclachlan Ltd, brewers in Edinburgh, Scotland, on 3 March 1965, and in May 1965 the company went into voluntary liquidation.
