Administrative / Biographical History

The British Exploring Expedition, 1905-1907 (led by Harrison) sailed from Liverpool in June 1905. This was a private expedition, which Harrison hoped would uncover any unknown land. During 1906 Harrison joined the United States Anthropological Expedition, 1906-1907 (leader Vilhjalmur Stefansson) for the journey to Shingle Point.
