This series contains information artefacts such as publicity material and publications relating to the community of exiles from Nazi-occupied Germany and Austria, and their activities in the UK. This includes publicity material created to advertise the Austrian exile theatre, Das Laterndl, and other theatrical, literary and cultural groups such as the Free German League of Culture and the Austrian Centre. The series also includes publications such as newspaper and journal articles reviewing these activities, published both contemporaneously and retrospectively.
