Neath Voluntary Social Stroke Club was established by Audrey Reed with the help of her sister and volunteers. Its purpose was to support people who had had strokes and meetings were held in the OAP Hall, Wellfield Avenue, Neath, with clients from Neath, Skewen, Port Talbot and Cwmavon. It ceased to operate in 2006.
