Reverend Griffith Thomas was a former vicar of Llangyfelach-cum-Morriston. He worked for the Church Committee for Church Defence and was Church Defence Lecturer for the dioceses of Llandaff and St. David's from 1903-1912. Griffith Thomas was heavily involved with the disestablishment of the church in Wales and with religious education.
