Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Peter Wilson joined the The Amersham Repertory Players company aged 14 as a general backstage helper and became a stage manager in August 1942. He stayed with the company until its demise in March 1949. He then became stage manager for the Mobile Theatre Company, founded by Caryl Jenner. Later he was one of the co-founders and managers of the Unicorn Theatre, alongside Caryl Jenner.
