Only some of the company's business records have survived. These include financial records including ledgers, productions accounts and dividend records (PSS/1), and various wage accounts (PSS/2) for mule spinners and allied workers at the mill.

Administrative / Biographical History
Parkside Spinning Co. Ltd. was a spinning enterprise located in Royton, Lancashire. It was established in 1873, and a second mill ("no.2") was added in 1892. The firm was reconstituted in 1920. The company went into liquidation in 1931. Lancashire Cotton Corporation purchased both its mills, but scrapped no.2 shortly after.
