Scope and Content

Photographs, postcards and engravings donated to Colwyn Bay Library from a variety of sources. CP107/1-2 are albums that were compiled by local historian Norman Tucker and had been placed by the Library Service in the Denbighshire Record Office, from where they were transferred to Conwy Archive c.2000.

CP107/3-21 is a series, mostly of photographs, that had been kept in the local history section of the Library for public access.

CP107/22-44 is a series, mostly of postcards, CP107/45 are negatives and CP107/46 is other art works. Where known, the name of the original donor is recorded.

A further deposit was made in 2015. Photographs and postcards which were deposited at this time have not all fitted into the original division into type. CP107/47 onwards contains a mixture of photographs and postcards.
