Noke National School was built in 1863 and was endowed by the Carlyle legacy. The school became a Junior school in 1931 with the Seniors transferring to Gosford Hill School and Marston School. The school closed in 1946 with the pupils being transferred to Islip School. Please see CC4/157 for other records of this school.
