Reports to the Committees

The visitors' books contain short reports written by subscribers visiting the Blue and Grey Coat schools at the time of the visit: they give the visitors' opinions of the running of the schools. The reports were read to both the directors' meetings and those of the Committee of the Blue and Grey Coat Schools. The Ladies' Committee, responsible for the running of the Grey Coat School also made reports to both the above meetings, principally noting those admitted to and leaving the school.
