    • 274 items. Condition: some of this material is in poor condition. The entire audiovisual collection has now been digitised in order to ensure its preservation.

Scope and Content

This collection comprises: 

  • 266 reel tapes, mainly on 10.5" reels. Some on 5" reels and other sizes. These contain raw make-up sounds, demos and master tapes relating to a variety of projects on which DD worked. Some projects are identifiable by original labels; others are not.
  • 5 cassette tapes featuring material from: the 'Pink Album'; by White Noise; 'Third Words: The Radio Feature' (11 Oct 1996); 'Original Masters' radio interview with DD (18-20 Oct 1997); 'Play for Today' and 'Orpheus', and other unidentified material.
  • 1 CD copy of 'Music from the Tomb of the Cybermen'.
  • 2 silent film recordings relating to 'Tutankhamun's Egypt' and 'Chronicle', both projects on which DD worked.
