Minutes of the Departmental board for History. This appears to have been set up around 1969, and its stays was formalised by the 1973 charter. The Departmental Boards typically discussed a range of issues including: curriculum and syllabus, finance, staffing, student administration, admissions, libraries.
The pre-1999 minutes are mainly minutes and agenda of the Board only, with occasional associated paperwork. Post-1999 include all papers used for Board and may include minutes of junior departmental committees. From 2000-2004 the department was part of the School of History and Classics, and the departmental board for history reported to a School Board.
