Contains performance photography dating from 1979 until 2003. During the time Graham Brandon used analogue cameras, before changing to digital photography in 2003.
From 1979 until the mid-1990s most performance photography undertaken related to dance productions, particularly by the Royal Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet and London Contemporary Dance Company. Also captured are other UK and international touring ballet and dance companies visiting for example Sadler's Wells.
Since the mid-1990s, Brandon's performance photography for the V&A begins to cover all types of performance including drama, opera, circus and more. This series also features a number of photography sessions relating to exhibitions at the former Theatre Museum in Covent Garden.
