Scope and Content

The six manuscript journals and one day book give an account of the Rev. William Griffiths's day to day life, referring frequently to his personal feelings and to his duties as a Minister of Religion. The first journal is in Welsh up to Nov. 1816, thereafter the journals are written in English. The six printed diaries, nos. 8-13, contain very few entries.
